Hey all! I just wanted to share with you all what God has done in my life the past couple of weeks. I have been trying to get into George Stone Technical Center to go for PC Support Services A+ Certification. I have not been in school for 20 years and here I am having to take the T.A.B.E. (Test of Adult Basic Education). I am very poor in math but I study for it and have a spiritual mentor who helped me with the test. Well, my goal was a 9.0 (9th Grade education level) and I ended up with a 12.0 (12th Grade level Education). I prayed constantly to God and He kept me calm and relaxed as well as brought the knowledge forward. He blessed me for sure!
Next, I applied for the PELL grant and again, He blessed me with the means to pay for my supplies with the grant! I had to make sure I took the College Placement Test and earned my Ability-To-Benefit status for financial aid. Blessings just keep on coming! I thought I was going to have to go to school part time because no full time spots were opened up. I get home from getting my financial aid and start eatting lunch. The phone rings. BAM!! I get to go full time now!! I know this all comes from God!
God still answers blessings people!! You must pray with a sincere heart! You must seek the kingdom first! As it says in scripture:
Do Not Worry (NKJV Matthew 6:25-34, Sermon on the Mount of Olives)
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
God is alive, people! He is! I have witnessed His glory and power first hand and there are NONE who can ever take that away from me! He loves every last one of you and He shall ALWAYS be sovereign! Praise be to Him above all others! May God bless you all! Jesus saves!
